Timber-getting developed in addition to dairying and grazing. At Falls Creek business developed in the mid-twentieth century at the turn-off to Huskisson. A second post office opened there called Klimpton resulted in the area gradually becoming known by that name, although it is part of Falls Creek. "Shoalhaven" William A. Bayley.
