Klimpton [Falls Creek]
In the 1890s some five miles north of Tomerong grew the village of Falls Creek as a centre for the estates of Comberton Grange, Parma, Bengelala, Tulse Hill and Selwood Grange. Timber-getting developed in addition to dairying and grazing. At Falls Creek business developed in the mid-twentieth century at the turn-off to Huskisson. A second post office opened there called Klimpton resulted in the area gradually becoming known by that name, although it is part of Falls Creek. "Shoalhaven" William A. Bayley.
